About baseball I know some things.

My friends and I all like the baseball game.I guess the Hogs were listening to me when I said they needed to score early to win the game. They scored 2 in the first 2 innings. The Arkansas hitters were very patient in the first inning drawing 3 walks and getting a single that knocked off the pitcher’s glove to score 1 run. Then Jake Wise blasted a home run to left center. This allowed D.J. Baxendale to get into a comfortable rhythm, not allowing a hit until the 5th inning. D.J. was stellar on the mound. His go-to pitch was his nasty 2-seam fastball that he was working in the inside edge which was baffling hitters. Joe Serrano has been on fire this tournament and today was no different. He went 3 for 3 with 1 RBI which makes him 10 for 17 for the tournament (.588 AVG).I pay attention to so have been understand these things.

I often concern I like baseball team. What they're up to?I like to see how this Hog team is developing with their hitting. 10 Hits today. It will be hard to keep this up though. We face either Florida or South Carolina next. If we face Florida, Jonathon Crawford (freshman starting pitcher and I assume will likely start) has only allowed 5 hits this whole tournament and has a 2.13 ERA. South Carolina’s probable pitcher would likely be Junior Colby Holmes, which has only allowed 2 hits and has a 0.00 ERA for the tournament. Hitting against these guys will definitely be quite a task. But the same rules apply: score early and take command of the strike zone and they’ll have a great chance to win.
